Prior to getting my doctorate, I was a multimedia journalist and spent time at the New York Times, Slate and produced projects as a freelancer for outlets such as Pando and ProPublica. These days, I still produce journalism by collaborating with Capital News Service and the Howard Center for Investigative Reporting at the University of Maryland.

Here’s a curated list of my work, organized by outlet.

Code Red: Baltimore’s Climate Divide (In partnership with National Public Radio, Capital News Service and Wide Angle Youth Media. I developed the initial concept for this investigation with my colleagues at the Merrill College, and served as an editor and ethnographer)
